The so delicious Mint Mojito – enjoy a taste of Cuba!
White rum (optional)
6 – 10 leaves of local fresh Mint
1 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
1 – 2 teaspoons Sugar (I like to use Cane or Rice Malt syrup – far less processed)
GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation: Mint sprigs muddled with sugar and lime juice. You can combine and bruise in a mortar with pestle for a better flavour. Add Rum and top up with soda water. Garnished with another sprig of mint leaves.
Served: On the rocks or poured over crushed ice, with lime slices.
Standard garnish: Sprig of mint and some lime peel if you like
