Fresh Mint

The so delicious Mint Mojito – enjoy a taste of Cuba!

  • White rum (optional)

  • 6 – 10 leaves of local fresh Mint

  • Soda Water

  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice

  • 1 – 2 teaspoons Sugar (I like to use Cane  or Rice Malt syrup – far less processed)

  • Preparation: Mint sprigs muddled with sugar and lime juice. You can combine and bruise in a mortar with pestle for a better flavour. Add Rum and top up with soda water. Garnished with another sprig of mint leaves.

  • Served: On the rocks or poured over crushed ice, with lime slices.

  • Standard garnish: Sprig of mint and some lime peel if you like
